Baby Clinic / Health Visitor Clinic / Child Developmental checks

From April 2019, the Health Visitor at West Hampstead Medical Centre will be moving to a Baby and Child Health Hub based at Abbey Community Centre at 222c Belsize Road, Kilburn, NW6 4DJ.

The new hub clinic will allow:

• Parents to have opportunities for sharing experiences and mutually support each other through a more social experience.

• A more in depth focus on the parent–child interaction and support for parenting skills.

• A more interactive experience (outside of weighing and measuring), that allows staff to build a supportive relationship with parents, by giving both space and time for parents to understand their options.

• Support for baby feeding including a private space for breastfeeding peer supporters to provide 1:1 help where required.

Our first Health Baby Hub Clinic at Abbey Community Centre will be launched on Wednesday 3rd April and will take place there every Wednesday morning from 10.00 – 12.00.

For more information about Baby and Child Health Hubs in Camden you can e-mail the Health Visiting Duty Desk on or call 0203 317 3032.
