Baby Clinic / Health Visitor Clinic / Child Developmental checks
The Health Visitor who currently attends West Hampstead Medical Centre will be reallocating their time to be part of the staffing for the Baby Hub Clinic at Abbey Community Centre at 222c Belsize Road, Kilburn, NW6 4DJ.
The new hub clinic will allow:
• Parents to have opportunities for sharing experiences and mutually support each other through a more social experience.
• A more in depth focus on the parent–child interaction and support for parenting skills.
• A more interactive experience (outside of weighing and measuring), that allows staff to build a supportive relationship with parents, by giving both space and time for parents to understand their options.
• Support for baby feeding including a private space for breastfeeding peer supporters to provide 1:1 help where required.
Our first Health Baby Hub Clinic at Abbey Community Centre will be launched on Wednesday 3rd April and will take place there every Wednesday morning from 10.00 – 12.00.
