Research

This practice, supported Noclor, participates in facilitating research in primary care which provides valuable data which is used to inform patient care and treatments.

Patients are identified on the basis of certain codes related to conditions they have told us about in the past. The research may well be related to treatments for those conditions that have happened in the past.

Identifiable data does not leave the practice. Letters inviting patients to take part in trials are sent out by us as keepers of the identifiable data on behalf of the research projects.

There is no obligation to take part in any trial and participation or non participation will not affect patient care in any way.

Sometimes, participation in a trial can offer direct benefits to patients such as additional treatments or monitoring. We will keep the page updated with any studies that we undertake at the practice.
